Meet Dr. Alison Nicholls

Dr. Alison has always enjoyed an active lifestyle, spending her childhood playing a variety of sports, dancing, and joining her older brother in countless backyard games of cricket, football, and basketball. She experienced her share of injuries, giving her a firsthand understanding of the pain, frustration, and the impact that injuries can have. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career in chiropractic.

Dr. Alison graduated from RMIT University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic), both with Distinction. She was honoured to be awarded Dux of her graduating class. Following graduation, Alison returned to her hometown of Adelaide.

Passionate about continuing her learning, Dr. Alison has returned to university in 2026 to study a Masters of Physiotherapy. Upon completion, she will be dual-qualified as both a Chiropractor and Physiotherapist, allowing her to combine the strengths of both professions to provide patient-centred care.

Dr Alison uses multiple adjusting techniques such as manual adjustments, drop pieces, blocks and activators as well as incorporating soft tissue technique and rehabilitation. She is a strong advocate for home exercise programs, recognising that movement and rehabilitation play an important role in supporting long-term results and helping patients stay active.
